We needed a location that looked urban and gritty however living in Nrthallerton those sorts of places aren’t readily available. The train station provided us with a rough locale and also a time effective way of showing that the characters had travelled to another location which we actually filmed in Northallerton.
This is a shot of the underpass in which we filmed the climactic scene of our piece. It offered a relatively private place and the graffiti gives it a very dirty urban feel. Unfortunately the lighting was an issue that we failed to overcome.
