Planning is an important part of making a movie. We use plannig to organise the movie and plan out each detail to make sure that the movie is up to top quality.

1) We first make our storyboard and then make it animatic, this means to collect images of the set, cast and props so that you can properly plan out each scene.

2) Then it is time to collect a Recce report, this means to collect images and details of everything you will need in your movie including images and details of the set.

3) You then have to decide on casting, which means picking people who are right for the part and have time to shoot.

4) The script is then written up including all of the dialogue used in the screne play, actions used by cast and all of the camera angles!

5) Shooting the script comes last, this is when all the planning comes together as you film the movie following the direction of the script you wrote.

It is important to consider health and safety on set with the location and props and also you would need permission to film on the chosen set and to use the props if the dont belong to you!

In Media we use story boards to plan out the films or movies we make. To use a story board is to first describe the caption or the story that is going on, “man walks up to house”. We then add what shots we want in the caption, “wide shot of man walking up to house, close up of man knocking on door”. We then shw how we want the story to be seen or how we know that this man is doing the action in the description, this is how to explain how you want the scene to go, “actor walks up to door and knocks”. Story boards are simple and effective to use, all movies that have been made have started out with just a story board.

Wordpress is a site which many people use to write blogs on certain subjects, you will also see other people’s blogs so you can comment on eachother and share views, once your blog has been created it is visable to everyone loged on to Wordpress. We write blogs to share opinions on public matters, with wordpress we can also add tags, pictures and links by pasting onto your blog.
